So, there’s the typical swim-run-cycle triathlon and the pavement-pounding marathon but how about a 12-hour danceathon? The legendary NYC DJ Danny Tenaglia, who’s known for his marathon sets, will be swinging by Zouk this Saturday (Apr 16) to lay down lots of beats. Time to dust off those dancing shoes.

Get ready to samba as Brazil's famous tropicália and Brazilian reggae leader, Gilberto Gil setting the stage ablaze again with his infectious grooves at the Esplanade this Sunday (Apr 17).

Be awed by The Viva Girls--12 young, classically-trained female musicians who all hail from top institutions like the China Academy of Music, the Chinese National Orchestra and the Central Conservatory of Music.Catch them live at the Marina Bay Sands’ Grand Theatre this Friday (Apr 15).

Adapted and directed by Goh Boon Teck (we go behind the scenes!) this Mandarin-Hokkien musical features a mix of irresistible music, meaningful lyrics, superb choreography and eye-popping costumes – all set against a ‘getai’.

For no-frills straight up soul-stirring guitar rock, head down to TAB where singer-songwriter Tim Faganis this week’s Artist-in-Residence. Drawing influence from Radiohead, Jeff Buckley and John Mayer, Fagan’s gravelly croon and masterful guitar work will get you grooving for sure.
