Celebrate the Chinois!

Now into its 8th year, the Huayi Festival has truly come into its own as Singapore’s premier Chinese arts and culture festival.

Packed full with both traditional and modern Chinese song, dance and theatre performances, this is one event you wouldn’t want to miss! (Besides, nothing gets you in the mood better for the upcoming Chinese New Year.)

Oh what tangled web we weave, when we first practice to deceive! Red Rose & White Rose (Sat-Sun, Feb 12-13) tells the tale of a man torn between two loves – the seductress Red Rose, and the deceptively pure White Rose. Tickets are still available, so get yours today!

Speaking of triangles, Huayi dishes up another delectable offering in the form of Grand Expectations (Sat-Sun, Feb 5-6)! Three young urbanites’ lives collide in their very modern take on the quest for happiness, fortune and other grand expectations. How will this tale turn out? Catch the production to find out!

Kit Chan - My Musical Journey

Don’t miss out on her comeback after a six-year hiatus Kit Chan – My Musical Journey (Sat-Sun, Feb 12-13) which promises to be both a trip down nostalgia lane and a fresh start to the future! Book your tickets now before it’s too late.

also boasts a bumper crop of free quality events for the whole family to enjoy! Kick off the festivities of the Lunar New Year with an Auspicious Lion Dance (Fri, 4 Feb). Following which, take your pick between puppetry, opera, film and song offerings (and many more!) by the Bay.
