Eric Clapton makes a date in Singapore in 2014

Eric Clapton will return to Singapore on his 2014 world tour.

Legendary musician, singer and songwriter famously known as “Slow Hand” will perform on 4 March at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

In his 50-year career, Eric Clapton has received many awards and accolades. He is the only triple inductee into the "Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame" (as a member of both the Yardbirds and Cream and as a solo artist). He has also won or shared in 18 Grammy Awards. In addition he has contributed to numerous artists' albums over the decades.

He can also be heard on albums by Aretha Franklin, Steven Stills, Bob Dylan, Elton John, Plastic Ono Band (John Lennon and Yoko Ono), Ringo Starr, Sting and Roger Waters.

'Old Sock', his 20th studio outing which was released earlier this year, sees the legendary musician collaborating with Steve Winwood, Paul McCartney and Chaka Khan. It's the 67-year-old's first album since 2010's 'Clapton', which reached number seven on the UK chart.

The 2014 concert will see Clapton return to Singapore for the fourth time. This follows his very first concert in 1990 for his Journeyman tour and his sold-out shows at the Indoor Stadium in 2007 and 2011.
