Film Flush 2.0 - 'Iron Man 3' review

In this episode of Film Flush, we review the third installment of the 'Iron Man' franchise which brings us one step closer to the 'Avengers' sequel in 2015.

The Avengers was the highest grossing movie last year and a real crowd pleaser all around. Anticipation for the start of Marvel's Phase Two is extremely high. And there is a big change to the 'Iron Man' series this time around. Jon Favreau, who directed the first two 'Iron Man' movies, has stepped away from the director's chair, and is replaced by Shane Black.

Shane Black was a superstar screenwriter in the nineties, having written 'Lethal Weapon', 'The Last Boy Scout' and 'The Last Action Hero'. This movie reunites him with Robert Downey Jr., his star from his directorial debut, 'Kiss Kiss Bang Bang'.

Iron Man 3 is a direct sequel to last summer’s Avengers film, in which Tony and his super-colleagues feuded with Norse gods and aliens, destroying much of Manhattan in the process.

'Iron Man 3' is still showing in theatres
