Fire, ice and gold dust this Christmas!

Christmas is finally here! After a month of exciting festivities, let’s kick back, relax and remember that the season is all about spending time with friends and family.

So let’s slow things down a little and remember to pace yourself – you’ll want this season to be happy and healthy, so you won’t miss out on any joy or entertainment!

Christmas with a wintry touch comes early to Alley Bar! Ice-capade 2010 (Thu Dec 23) kick-starts the party with an elaborate 6m long ice curling structure on display. Take part in ice curling games to win fabulous prizes of gift vouchers and celebratory champagne!

Come Christmas Eve, don’t miss a beat by heading out to Home Club’s Xmas Eve Hellfire Blitz (Fri Dec 24). Join BEAT DJs Ginette Chittick and Joe Ng for an unforgettable night of festive indie rock!

If you prefer something more mellow, check out Ying Yang’s Gold Dust Christmas (Fri Dec 24) where you get to share some cherished peace and goodwill over the tipple of choice, champagne, of course.

After a lazy Christmas Saturday, rev up your engines again on Sunday by heading down for Going Om’s Boxing Day with Julien Bansihon (Sun, Dec 26), where the talented Mr Bansihon brings to our shores his unique, haunting sound of lapsteel guitars of the Hawaiian and American tradition, among others.

If you’re a fan of popular Taiwanese drama series Paladins in Troubled Times 爱, you’ll be delighted to learn that its performers are in town for the Love of My Life concert (Sun, Dec 26). Definitely a great ending to an awesome festive weekend!

Have a happy, happy Christmas everyone! For more options on what’s on, do check out our comprehensive events calendar. In the meantime, have a great rest and see you back here next week for our weekend planner on what’s on!
