Get ready to feel overjoyed with Matchbox Twenty

After topping the Billboard Charts in its debut week with new album 'North', Matchbox Twenty will take its critically acclaimed live show to Singapore on 10 November at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

Formed in 1995, Matchbox Twenty - Rob Thomas, Paul Doucette, Kyle Cook and Brian Yale - sealed their comeback last September with hit singles 'Overjoyed' and 'She's So Mean', which propelled their album 'North' straight to number one on the SoundScan / Billboard 200 within a week.

That same month, the band played a sold-out show at London's Shepherd's Bush Empire and also headlined the Roundhouse as part of the iTunes Festival.

Matchbox Twenty have so far sold more than 30 million albums worldwide.

After a recent show, Sydney's Music Network described Matchbox Twenty as " of the world's best groups, still having infectious fun and branching out over their long and glorious career".

Matchbox Twenty will play their hits as well as songs from their latest album 'North' during the concert in Singapore.

“We don't make records that often anymore, so when we do, we want to devote our time and energy to not only doing it, but also bringing that music to the fans," guitarist Doucette said.
