The days are hotting up as we inch closer to the Formua 1 GP season! For a roundup of the most exciting events happening around town this week, read on.



Held in conjunction with the F1 season for a period of 10 days, Digital Nights Singapore is a sparkling new digital arts extravaganza held along both Orchard Road and at the Singapore Art Museum. Highlights include the interactive light display Red Carpet and the iPhone-based game trail Love is in the Air along Orchard, plus A Digital Experience and Binary Waves at the Singapore Art Museum.

If you’re in the mood for some sophisticated intrigue, don’t miss out on Blackbird. Helmed by celebrated local director Tracie Pang, this complex web of deceit has more twists and turns than a bag of fusilli pasta.

For a more light-hearted play, check out Momotaro – The Peach Boy, the perennially heartwarming folk tale that makes clever use of puppetry, live action and music to create some magic in the theatre.





25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee


To round up our list of plays to catch, there’s also The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, centering around a fictional competition in New York which pits kids against each other.
