Indulge in two days and three nights of feisty performances and workshops all about Salsa! That’s what the Singapore International Salsa Festival is all about.
Taking place from November 12 – 14 at Downtown East, there’ll be plenty of great, authentic Latin offerings for you to enjoy.
Willy’s NYC Salsa project featuring Chachi will be performing at the night parties. This six piece band is touted as a mini version of the Grammy award-winning ‘Spanish Harlem Orchestra’ and will thrill you with their unique sound of salsa, latin jazz and tropical pop.

Other performances you won’t want to miss includes Alma Latina’s performance. Youtube star Reinaldo Ojedo is one-half of the performing duo and you’ll be impressed by his slick dance moves on one leg and one crutch. Then there’s also the brother-sister duo of Junior and Emily, who are 10-time world champions and brought salsa to America’s prime time television when they participated in ‘America’s Got Talent’.

And proving that salsa isn’t just for the red hot latinos, Alberto Romay and Mika Takenaga, Japan’s most recognised and respected salsa dance pair will perform and conduct a workshop. You’ll be privileged to see their passionate and soulful dancing.
