Korean Music Wave 2011 hits town in July!

K-pop fans are in for a treat this July as not one but 10 bands will swing by Singapore for a special one night only concert of epic proportions.

Korean Music Wave 2011 is brought to you by Proof Label, the people that gave us Korean Pop Night last year. The concert will be held on July 15 at Singapore Indoor Stadium.

Possibly the hottest names in K-pop right now, Korean Music Wave will see the return of Big Bang. Comprising GD, T.O.P, Taeyang, Daesung and Seungri, Big Bang recently returned to the scene with their fourth mini album Tonight, after a two-year hiatus.  The album became the first K-pop record to reach the top 10 on the US iTunes chart and is the only non-English language album in the top 100. The band will share the stage with acts such as 2NE1, FT Island, Teen Top, Girl’s Day, The Boss and X-5.

Proof Label will be revealing the three other bands and ticketing information shortly. Tickets will be sold through SISTIC.

Korean Music Wave 2011 happens on Jul 15, Singapore Indoor Stadium. Check Korean Music Wave’s Twitter page for updates.
