There are divas. And then there is Mariah Carey.

The bestselling female artiste of all time has notched up 200 million in album sales to date, and has 18 Billboard number one hits to her name.

Come 24 October, the Grammy Award-winning singer with the world famous five-octave range will be in Singapore for her ‘Me. I Am Mariah’ concert, to be held at the state-of-the-art National Stadium in the Singapore Sports Hub.

Carey was last in Singapore in 2010 to perform at the Formula One Grand Prix. Her last full-scale solo concert here, however, was the ‘Rainbow World Tour’ back in 2000.

As one of the most gifted R&B singers, Carey is responsible for decade-spanning hits such as 'Vision of Love', 'Fantasy', 'Hero' and 'Always Be My Baby', as well as modern-day Holiday classic 'All I Want For Christmas Is You'.

The 44-year-old is touring to promote her 14th studio album, ‘Me. I Am Mariah… The Elusive Chanteuse’, released May 2014. This will reportedly take her to other countries in Asia such as China, Japan and South Korea.

The concert is being held in association with the BNP Paribas WTA Finals tennis championship in Singapore, where tennis greats such as Martina Navratilova will also be here.
