Metallica returns to Singapore - The Sandmen cometh

If this ludicrous haze makes you feel like flipping tables, smashing glasses, and setting something on fire (please don’t, the weather’s bad enough) we have an announcement that will help you unleash all these inner angst in full heavy metal glory.

After 20 long years, the legendary Metallica returns to Singapore as part of their Asian Tour and will perform at the Singapore Changi Exhibition Centre on 24 August.

Organised by concert promoter LAMC Productions, tickets will go on sale on 28 June at 9am. Expect a nation-wide online mosh for these tickets – a preview of their reputably aggressive shows – so if you wish to get a hand on these tickets, prep those fingers!

Since 1981, the highly influential band has had an outstanding repertoire that consists of nine studio albums and over 30 singles, including classics like ‘Nothing Else Matters’, ‘The Unforgiven II’, ‘One’, and of course ‘Enter Sandman’.

Tearing up stages and orchestrating legions of moshers globally, Metallica is a music force that has never ceased to be great. They’re currently working on their 10th studio album, and are set to release an IMAX feature film later this year.

This is one gig not for the faint-hearted. Eat plenty that day, and go with a pair of shoes you’re willing to have trampled on.
