The former England player is now a football pundit

It will be the 34-year-old’s first time in Singapore since 2001, where he scored a goal against Team Singapore in a friendly match with Liverpool.  The Reds eventually won 2-0.

Win a chance to meet or even have brunch with Owen, who has had a storied career as a Liverpool, Manchester United and Real Madrid player. Since announcing his retirement at the end of the 2012/2013 season with Stoke City, the ex-England striker is now a football pundit.

Shoppers at Wisma Atria will get the chance to show off their football skills at a penalty shootout simulator with an accumulative spend of $200.

You get three tries, and every player who scores will win attractive premiums.

But those who manage a hat trick (a perfect score) will automatically qualify for a lucky draw to be one of the 10 who will get the chance to meet Owen or have brunch with him. The closing date for entries is 22 June 2014.

Held in conjunction with the Community Chest, shoppers can also have a go at the penalty simulator with a donation of $5. 10 Community Chest beneficiaries will also get the chance to meet Owen.

Wisma Atria is getting on the football action from 29 May to 13 July to celebrate the World Cup.

Among the installations in and around the mall is a life-sized table soccer set up in the front of the mall, which will be populated by players in various national team colours.
