What a fabulous weekend this is turning out to be for music lovers! Whether you’re into Mando-pop, C-Rock, Western rock, local rock, hip hop, funk, soul, trance, or evergreen classics, you’ll wake up smiling in anticipation of all the music superstars that will be hitting our shores soon. The singer formerly known as Emil, Wakin Chau, swings by the city on May 28 for the Diva Wakin Chau Live 2011, to pay tribute to some of Chinese music’s famous divas. Look forward to the singer-songwriter singing the songs of other popular singers such as Zhou Hsuan, Faye Wong and Wan Fang among others. The diva vibe will even extend to the décor and costumes of the concert with a cheery floral theme. Of course, Chau will be belting out many of his own tunes too.

Don’t miss home-grown folk rocker Art Fazil’s Songs of the Rainbow Childwhere he gives an intimate acoustic performance that will take you through a journey of his music from its seedlings in the heartland of Singapore to the world’s stage.
