Oktoberfest gets into full swing!

It’s the start of a new week yet again, and we hope you’re well rested and ready to rock! Here’s our selection of the hottest events you can’t miss this week.

The revelries have started, and you wouldn’t want to miss Paulaner Brauhaus’ version of Oktoberfest! What’s there not to love with authentic German cuisine such as perennial favorites like sausages and pork knuckles, washed down with copious amounts (6,000 litres, to be precise) of the celebratory brew. For more details, read our preview guide here.

For those more classically inclined, you’re in for a treat this week with celebrated Chinese pianist

Lang Lang  performing Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 1 on Tuesday, Oct 5, as well as the Vienna Boys Choir serenading you with their youthful sopranos on Friday, Oct 8.

Tony Award-winning play Metamorphoses commences its run on Thursday, Oct 7, in case you’re hankering for a more intellectual offering that borders on the macabre. Beware the wrath of Roman gods!

Lastly, round up your week with a bang at the PUMA Archive Uncovered party, a music event showcasing some of the most exciting homegrown talent around. Local bands such as Run Neon Tiger & The Karl Maka are singled out to perform, while Singapore’s favorite riot chick Ginette Chittick helms the decks in between. Our very own Night Owl Tracy tells you how you can score passes to this exclusive event here!

Have a great week everyone, make the most of it! We’ll be back this Wednesday with a brand-new weekend guide with more can’t-miss events to help you plan your weekend.
