Pump up the volume this Hari Raya weekend!

This weekend, prepare yourself for a bumper crop of parties that spills over to Monday (in anticipation of Hari Raya Puasa on Tuesday)!

Yes, we know Monday isn’t part of the long weekend, but even for those of us who didn’t manage to get off from work, there’s still no excuse to continue being festive. So grab those dancing shoes and get ready to rock, because this weekend (and beyond), the parties never stop!

Thursday (Aug 25)

Start the weekend early with Swissotel’s infamous monthly Helipad Party, this month with DJ Anthony Ross helming the decks. We hope the weather holds up so we can take in the breathtaking 360-degree view up on the helipad, but if that doesn’t work we can always take the party back to New Asia Bar.

Friday (Aug 26)

It’s Friday, so the weekend has officially started, right? Hailing all the way from Moscow, Russian electronic dance maestro Bobina will be playing at Zouk so head there for a night of electronica. Elsewhere, Pushin’ On presents Mr Thing (him of The Scratch Perverts fame) down by the Blujaz Café, and local legend DJ Kennerve spins at Zirca’s Funktion night.

Saturday (Aug 27)

Saturday’s got so much going on, it’s bordering on the insane. TAB celebrates its first anniversary with Vauderville!, a night of music, mayhem and mischief so it’s as good as any a bet to kick start your night. Afterwards, head down to Ku De Ta for techno legend Dave Angel’s set, or get in a healthy dose of kawaii-girrrrrl-power with DJ Licca at Butter Factory.

For something a little more indie, take your pick between Home Club’s Dubstep August, or CUE: The Music by the CHROAM boys over at Blujaz.

Sunday (Aug 28)

Still alive? Pace yourself, you’ve still got lots to get through. Wind down a hectic weekend with chilled-out sessions at some of the poshest places in town. Koup at Ku De Ta delivers up a mellow day of in-house beats, best enjoyed with a leisurely brunch, while Prive lets you watch the sun go down over the waterfront, bubbly in hand at their monthly Chandon Sunset Sessions.

Monday (Aug 29) – Eve of Hari Raya Puasa

We’ve made it through so far, let’s carry on for a weekend we won’t forget! Start the night at Zouk as it revs up the energy levels with Soundsystem with all the resident DJs in the house, then bounce over to Butter Factory for its Booty Call Sleepover – come in your sexiest sleepwear, we won’t tell who’s been naughty or nice!
