Comic actress Rebel Wilson of 'Pitch Perfect' and TV series 'Super Fun Night' could be one of Paul Feig's choices for 'Ghostbusters 3', she revealed
Having previously worked with Feig in 'Bridesmaids', the Australian actress told Matt Lauer of NBC's 'Today' show that she'd met with the director but couldn't confirm anything for sure.
"I have had a meeting, but who knows, who knows?" she said. "They have to look at the script when it's finished."
Caveats notwithstanding, Wilson remains enthusiastic. "I would even do that without the money truck. 'Ghostbusters,' the giant marshmallow man? I'd do that for free," she joked, though conceding that she "probably shouldn't say that on TV."
Wilson next appears in 'Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb' alongside Ben Stiller and is locked to return as Fat Amy in 'Pitch Perfect 2' in 2015, with parts in 'Kung Fu Panda 3' and spy comedy 'Grimsby' to follow.
Paul Feig is working with 'The Heat' co-writer on a script for 'Ghostbusters 3'.
