[UPDATE] Retrolicious will return to Fort Canning Park. Similar to previous years, concert will now start at 8pm. If you've bought your tickets, they are valid for entry upon verification at Fort Canning Park.
Retrolicious is now 70% sold and looking to be sold out in advance again! We recommended that you buy your tickets early!
Retro night du jour Mambo Jumbo may have ended its 20-year run at Zouk but the "retro-night" is far from over.
The Retrolicious concert returns this year on October 6 at a bigger venue Gardens By The Bay with four headlining acts.
Popular 80s acts Tiffany, Howard Jones, Wang Chung and German synth-pop band Alphaville will entertain audiences with their hit songs like "Let's Go", "All This Time" as well as "Forever Young", when they perform at this year's Retrolicious concert on October 6.
Alphaville – ‘Forever Young’
“There is something about the 80’s that we will never forget. For many people, it represents a time of evolution, free-spiritedness, mad hairstyles, fashion, and possibly, the best decade of music,” says Beatrice Chia-Richmond, creative director of event organisers Running Into the Sun.
Wang Chung – ‘Everybody Have Fun Tonight’
This year’s concert will also have a ‘class reunion’ theme, and concert-goers who come dressed in school uniforms as a group will get a chance to meet the performer of their choice and enjoy a round of free drinks, if they are the biggest group in uniform at the event. So round up your mates and get ready to go retro.
Retrolicious 2012 is on 6 October at Fort Canning Park. Tickets are priced at $125 each while limited VIP tickets go for $225. Tickets will be available from Sistic from 3 Aug while M1 customers enjoy priority discounts of 20 per cent between 3-12 Aug.
