Road To Ultra dance event comes to Singapore

One of dance music's biggest global brands, Ultra is coming to Singapore.

'Road To Ultra', a series of international dance music parties launched by the producers of music festival Ultra and Ultra Worldwide, will make its debut here in September.

The event will take place at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Marina Bay Sands on 19 September during the Formula One race weekend.

Organisers say the line-up will be revealed very soon. Tickets, which are priced from $118, will on sale from 7 July at

The event will likely feature some of the world's hottest DJs in the electronic dance music scene.

Previous Road To Ultra editions have featured names such as Tiesto, Skrillex and David Guetta. Singapore DJs Zushan and Lincey have played in the Korean edition this June.

Road To Ultra, which was launched in 2012, have been held in Thailand, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Macau, Colombia and Paraguay.

The Ultra brand was founded in 1997 by Russell Faibisch, who launched electronic dance music events in South Florida.

In 1999, Ultra launched the inaugural Ultra Music Festival on Miami Beach.

The annual event has grown with each year, becoming one of the biggest dance music festivals in the world with a stellar line-up of top-ranking international DJs. Ultra Music Festival 2015 in Miami attracted a crowd of 165,000 party-goers.

On 11 July, Ultra Singapore collaborates with Polish vodka label Belvedere for the third edition of the Belvedere Music Lounge at Tanjong Beach Club.

New York DJ Mel Debarge will headline the event alongside Japanese jock DJ Bento and dance music collective Rave Republic (DJ Stas & Mathias Schell).

Ticket for the event are priced at $35 at the door.
