Red Bull Racing drivers Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber made a pit stop at Orchard Central on Thursday afternoon, 20 September 2012.

The pair was at the mall for the pre-launch of Red Bull’s first concept store outside of Austria. The event was hosted by Fiona Xie.

The pre-launch of the Red Bull World store was held at a Red Bull Racing pop-up shop which will be selling Red Bull Racing merchandise until 24 September.

At the event, Vettell, the reigning Formula One champion said, “I’m not used to the humidity yet, but I like it here. It’s a very nice grand prix and I think it’s the best that we have this year. It’s great to be back obviously, and there are a lot of positive memories. Last year was fantastic and obviously we try again this year to put on some strong performance and we’ll see how it goes. It’s really nice to be back in Singapore.”

“I know there are a lot of cameras here and it’s great to see the support, so thanks everyone for coming to the Red Bull shop,” said Mark Webber.

At the event, Webber was presented with a helmet that he will be wearing at the Singapore Grand Prix.  “Well it was about six months ago, we decided to have a helmet competition. We have an unbelievable amount of entries. There were 1,300 entries. There was a 17 year old girl from Croatia who won the design so I’m going to wear the helmet this weekend,” said Webber.
