Wine, dine and have plenty of good times every first Thursday of the month as Clarke Quay's Music Series gets into swing. This June 2 from 7-10pm, Clarke Quay hosts the ever swinging Swing Jazz Thursdays featuring the smooth vocals of James Flynn, jazz band K'ASS led by Mei Sheum and the effervescent Dixieland Swingers and you can catch it LIVE here at

Establishing himself as one of Australia's leading jazz vocalists, crooner James Flynn boasts a roaring repertoire that spans the jazz greats such as Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole and Bobby Darin; giving his own take the tunes from these luminaries.

Another must-see at Swing Jazz Thursdays is K'ASS led by Mei Sheum. Expect a stimulating performance by k’Ass whose music draws from a diverse mix of influences as far-ranging as Coltrane, Miles Davis, Incognito, Weather Report, old-school funk, hip-hop and acid jazz. k´Ass blends improvisational jazz with an exhilarating mix of acid, house and groove club sounds. The band has played at nearly all the major festival venues, including Chijmes jazz, Heineken Green Room Sessions and Esplanade Jazz series.

Alongside the stellar line-up, toe-tap to the rhythm of the infectious Dixieland Band and pick up Lindy Hop from professional dance instructors at our dance workshops. We promise you lots of fun as your learn the basic moves of this energetic and joyful dance!
