Don’t miss this ‘70s hit that is still fun to watch today. Disco musical Saturday Night Fever The Musical returns with its slick dance movies, classic disco anthems, and a story of two Brooklyn-ites chasing their dance-floor dreams.

Head down to the Esplanade’s Moonfest (25-27 Sep) this weekend for all things Mid-Autumn Festival. The venue is presenting a dazzling lineup of Oriental arts and activities by Singaporean and international artistes. Expect to see song and dance performances from ethnic Chinese tribes, Cantonese opera, percussion workshops and more.

The Imperial Ice Stars Sleeping Beauty on Ice skates into Singapore this weekend for a three-day run. The show gives us a terrific modern take on the traditional fairytale set to the music of Tchaikovsky with outstanding performances by an 18-strong cast of Olympic, World, European and National Championship level skaters

After a sell-out run at London's Hampstead Theatre, feel-good rom-com ‘Hello Goodbye’  (through 26 Sep | 8pm | DBS Arts Centre, 20 Merbau Rd. | $15-40 via Sistic) arrives in Singapore with a local cast. Starring Shane Mardjuki and Denise Tan, the play charts the comical love story between unwilling housemates Juliet and Alex.

Pop artist and designer extraordinaire Steve Lawler (no relation to the DJ) aka Mojoko is presenting his first solo show after a very long hiatus. Expect to see a works that blend B-movie trash culture and Asian heritage in this multi-media exhibition. ‘House of Mojoko’ (25 Sep – 4 Oct | 21 Everitt Road North | Free) will also feature works by Eric Foenander, Shang Liang and Lawler’s son “Babyman”.

Hamburg’s Adana Twinsbring their deep and groovy house sounds to Velvet Underground this Friday.

Berlin-based British DJ and producer Paul Rose aka Scubatakes over the decks at Velvet Underground on Saturday to bring you a bit of dubstep, some techno, a dash of house and plenty of good times. Don’t miss this.

The Peranakan Museum is throwing a Secret Partythis Saturday. Put on your baba best and prepare to joget to the grooves of DJ Tinc, while Hossan Leong will bring on the laughs.

Rediscover love, lust and Shakespeare with ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ (23-27 Sep | 3pm, 8pm | SOTA Theatre Studio, 1 Zubir Said Dr. | $30, 35 from Sistic), performed by the artistes in Young & Wild’s reimagining of The Bard’s classic comedy about four youthful lovers lost in an enchanted forest.
