Following a sell-out run in London’s West End in 2014, Michael Flatley’s Lord of the Dance - Dangerous Games makes its way to Singapore this weekend. With 40 of the world’s renowned young dancers and musicians performing high-energy moves, the show will leave you breathless for sure!

Zouk’s Velvet Underground never fails to book the hottest DJs. This Friday, Berlin-based Techno duo Pan-Pothit the decks alongside resident jock Zushan.

‘Singapore Idol’ alum and singer-songwriter Gayle Nerva takes to the stage this Saturday at the Esplanade Recital Hall for a night of original acoustic goodness.

Fresh from wowing crowds at during the National Day Parade, Mando-pop superstar JJ Lin returns the Singapore leg of his JJ Lin Timeline: Genesis World Touron at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. Lin will be performing some of his best-known hits such as ‘If Only’, ‘Practise Love’, ‘Never Learn’ and ‘Small Dimples’.

Learn the secrets of some of your favourite animated movies such as ‘Kung Fu Panda’, ‘How to Train Your Dragon’ and ‘Shrek’ at DreamWorks Animation: The Exhibition. Expect to see works of art, including original hand-drawn character sketches, 3D marquettes of locations and characters, and interactive displays that allow you to play with animation technology.

Don’t miss bilingual theatre company Toy Factory Productions’ restaging of its acclaimed ‘December Rains’ musical with TV actor Andie Chen, and singer-songwriter Chriz Tong in the lead.

Sentosa ups the fun quotient this September with FunFest 2015, a ‘mega inflatable beach festival’. Held from from 5-13 Sep, this event at Siloso Beach will feature rides like the 12-metre high Triple Slide Inflatable, Swing and Sway stations and a Bungee Run.

Expect a master class in comedy when Irish comic Dylan Moran brings his brand new show ‘Off The Hook’ to the NUS Cultural Centre this weekend.

Local orchestral group West Winds presents the second instalment of their tribute concert to Japanese master animator and director, Hayao Miyazaki. Enjoy arrangements from your favourite anime such as 'Spirited Away’, ‘Princess Mononoke’, ‘My Neighbour Totoro’, ‘Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind’ and the latest masterpiece, ‘The Wind Rises’.
