The highly anticipated Singapore Toy, Games & Comic Convention is just around the corner. Here’s everything you need to know about the special guests and all the big names who will be there!






Imagine travelling the world to find the best comic book artists – that’s exactly what C.B. Cebulski does for Marvel Comics! As their international talent scout, you won’t want to miss what Cebulski has to reveal about the world inside Marvel and what he looks for in the next Marvel Artists. And if you’re an aspiring comic artist, this is your chance to impress him and get into the heart of the industry.

Other guests at the Convention include Jennifer Phillips, who’s an award-winning action/fight choreographer, entertainer and playwright. She’ll be there to give a behind the scenes look at how fight sequences are planned and do a special ‘live’ stunt performance from the movies like The Matrix and Kung-fu Panda.

For hardcore comic fans, you can catch a whole plethora of illustrators like Leinil Yu, whose works include Wolverine, X-Men, Fantastic Four and the New Avengers. British artist David Lloyd, who created the V for Vendetta graphic novel will also be on hand with critically-acclaimed writer Alan Moore. Watch out also for Alex Maleev, Esad Ribic, Giuseppe CAmuncoli, Harvey Tolibao, Salvador Larroca, Sonny Liew, Tan Eng Huat as well as comic writers Gail Simone and Ivan Brandon who have all done work for Marvel and DC Comics.

Want even more? Cartoonist Phil Ortiz and Phil Yeh will be there alongside popular toy designers Simone Legno (Tokidoki), Mori Chack (Gloomy Bear), Koto Mishiyama and Shinichiro Kitai (DEVILROBOTS), Tim Tsui (Da TeamBronx) and Jason Siu (Monkey Playground).

You definitely won’t be bored with Japanese girl group AKB48 giving a performance and exclusive sneak peeks and previews of  Nurarihyon No Mago, Generator Rex and Pororo.
