Trot your way to Singapore International Racing Festival

Racing fans, strap this into your calendar! The Singapore International Racing Festival will be galloping into town from 27 April to 5 May, in conjunction with the upcoming Singapore International Airlines Cup (SIA Cup) and KrisFlyer International Sprint (KFIS).

The stunning and svelte Turf Belles will be out and about once again, dressed in the jewel-toned jockey silks from the past 12 winners of the Singapore International Airlines Cup winners. Aside from taking photos with visitors, the girls might also join you in some of the fun-filled activities lined up.

Stroll through the Esquine Exhibition to learn everything you could want about horses, from their food to the different types of saddles and bridles used, with the help of Singapore Turf Club’s mascots Racer & Clover. You will also get a speedy history lesson on the SIA Cup and the KFIS.

If all that race-related information gets you raring to go, channel the energy into the horseshoe pitching competition. Toss yours with careful measure and you might walk away with $2,000 in cash.

Those who like striking a pose can dress up as a Jockey and take a photo with your gang for the “Snap & Win” photography contest. Photos will be uploaded on Singapore Turf Club’s facebook, and the best in show will win over $6,000 worth of cash and prizes.

End your visit on a sweet note – the festival will be attempting to set a Guinness World Record for the largest cupcake tower. Not just a sugary sight, the 2,888 cupcakes used will be sold for charity to fund the building of THK EIPIC @ Woodlands, a gym for disabled children. Sink your teeth in to show support!
