'Waiting For Godot' returns for second run in Nov

Vladimir and Estragon in 'Waiting for Godot'
It is perhaps one of the most important English plays of the 20th Century.

After a successful run in 2012, 'Waiting For Godot' returns to Singapore for a limited run at the SOTA Drama Theatre from 19-23 November.

The production is directed by Peter Reid and stars Neill Fleming as Vladmir, Patrick O'Donnell as Estragon, Paul Kealyn as Pozzo and Nick Devlin as Lucky.

Two young actors from Singapore has also been auditioned and selected by the director to take on the role of "Young Boy" in the play.

'Waiting for Godot' has to be one of Samuel Beckett’s most well-known plays and largely considered as one of the most significant plays from the 20th century.

The play is an absurdist, tragicomedy, translated from French into English by Beckett from his original, 'En attendant Godot'.

Beckett’s renowned play sees Estragon and Vladimir in a perpetual state of anticipation awaiting the appearance of the eponymous gent, who never showed.
