Witness the impossible with The Illusionists

Addressing all magic believers, lovers or even skeptics, The Illusionists will either make you believe in magic or leave you with unexplainable questions in your boggled minds after their spectacular performance.

Judge not the appearance of the men, sure, they look like rock-stars, but they will blow you away with their breath-taking logic-defying magical performance as they take over Sands Theatre from February 17-March 4.

Renowned masters of the sleight of hand, Dan Sperry, Brett Daniels, James Dimmare, Phillip Escoffey and Andrew Bass make up The Illusionists team, and each one has a role to play. Each one armed with a categorized trick up his sleeve, it’s going to be an unexpected show.

Given a rough idea of what each member does, with their given names like ‘The Escapologist’ and ‘The Manipulator’, you kind of get the gist of what they specialise in. But what do they really do?

Here’s what you can expect:

It’s not going to be ‘just another magic show’; it will be packed with different emotions.

Feel the knot in your stomach as you resist the temptations to run up to the stage to help the magician escape the water tank.

Squirm in your seats as they put themselves in life-and-death situations.

Widen your eyes as they do gravity-defying levitation acts, and watch your eyes betray you as they perform disappearing acts.
