YouTube Stars & Jayesslee take to the stage in May

After entertaining you in the comforts of your home, some of the internet’s brightest stars are heading here to perform.

First up are twins Janie and Sonia, otherwise known as Jayesslee. The duo is bringing their Asia tour to Singapore on 4 May, 7.30pm at the Kallang Theatre (tickets at $38, $58, $78 from SISTIC). If you missed their sold out show in Singapore, here’s another chance to catch them ‘live’.

They first started off covering various artists’ songs with a camcorder and a guitar, singing their hearts out for their viewers. They have covers for various English songs and even Korean ones like “Nobody” by Wonder Girls.

'I Won't Give Up' – Jason Mraz (Jayesslee cover) The humble twins started their journey down the musical path as a hobby, something that they love doing. Now, they’ve taken their talents to the big stage, touring various countries since their online debut three years ago.

They’re a hit worldwide with sold out shows in Singapore and Thailand (a country that only has a minority English-speaking citizens. Shows how lovable they are!), and have more than 300,000 channel subscribers to date.

Back by popular demand, the twins will be in Singapore again to captivate us with their bubbly personalities and more importantly – mesmerizing vocals.

Also for the first time ever, a music festival is dedicated to YouTube sensations, featuring six of the most talented YouTube stars all on one stage at 7pm on 5 May at The Coliseum, Hard Rock Hotel Singapore (tickets $70 from SISTIC).
